Bob Anstead, AKA: The Rod Doctor, has been a "fishin' fool" since age 3 growing up in Santa Cruz, California, and fishing with his Dad in the legendary San Lorenzo River. He now manages the Sunshine Coast Salmonid Enhancement Society Fish Hatchery in Sechelt, British Columbia, Canada, and, together with a group of wonderful volunteers, has helped to bring the salmon population back, better than ever, to the Sunshine Coast.

Bob not only knows how to raise these wonderful creatures, but he also is an expert at catching them. His knowledge of the proper fishing gear and expert rod repairs has made him quite the "sought-after fellow"!
